Driving Schools – Practice Makes Perfect

January 12th, 2012 admin Comments off

The turn of the 20th century marked the advent of the road cars. A new means of transportation had emerged that was set to revolutionize the world. Slowly but surely, the roads were filled with four wheeled beasts of varying colors and sizes. They started up with big bulky engines but later on moved to sleek and better efficiency models. To merely say, “we have come a long way from those days” will be a certain understatement. Quite literally, it might be more appropriate to say, “We have driven a long way.” Indeed, we have driven for billions and billions of miles since those days. In fact of all the verbs the mankind has used in the modern era, driving undoubtedly take the first place in the most frequently used verb, followed by internet surfing being a close second.

And what has made for so much of driving in all these years and decades by mankind? Better cars, yes; Bigger and better roads, yes; but the most important aspect has been the thrill associated with continuous driving. It is a very basic feeling that almost every 2nd person on earth must have experienced. Your first car is like your first love. You would always remember the first time you went driving in it. Nor would you be able to forget the first time your parents enrolled you into a driving school.

People always associate a driving school with an amateur or a newbie driver. Frankly speaking, this is not always true. People who have been out of touch for a long time can always get back to the driving school to hone their skills and bring them back to life. They can also be joining a school after a long time just so that they can change to a different category of vehicle they have not tried before. For example, a regular driver might need some special considerations to learn about before thinking of driving a big pick-up or a trailer truck or maybe one of those eighteen-wheelers. If not that, then surely people who don’t have a regular access to a vehicle can surely go and polish their driving skills. For instance, a lady who is a home-maker can very well think of joining a driving school (as her husband takes the family car away) during the day just to practice her driving. If Michael Schumacher can come back to the circuit and put in hours of practice, we can all surely join the driving school again in life!

If you live a block or two from the grocery store then don’t drive to get that loaf of bread or gallon of milk just walk. If you live close to your lil chicks school then just walk instead of driving.

10. HITCH A RIDE! If you have a friend or neighbor close to your that is driving to Wal-Mart or whoever you might need to go then just tag along. And if you have a coworker that lives near you trade off driving days and carpool.
